Steps

1. From the home screen, go to the online services screen.

2. Select Transfer Money.

3. Enter the Sender number and Sender name.

4. Select a Type of ID that the sender wants to provide and enter the details requested for that type.

Note:

• If the sender has a registered e-money account, Merchant App automatically populates their name and ID.
• Prompting for the sender's ID is configurable.

5. Select Next.

6. Enter the recipient's phone number, name, and the transfer amount, and select Next.

7. Review the transaction and select VERIFY TRANSACTION.

8. Authorise the transaction with your PIN.

Because the recipient doesn't have an e-money account in the system, the system creates a single-use wallet account associated with the recipient phone number. The funds are transferred from the merchant wallet to this single-use wallet. The recipient receives an SMS containing a voucher number that they must redeem to retrieve the funds as cash.
